Independent schools of Geelong or Homeschooling? Know the points to make a better choice

Preparing your child for Schooling is both exciting and challenging. Some kids are not fussy and easily adapt in but some kids are difficult to habituate in new atmosphere.

There was a time when putting your child in best school was a proud thing but trends have changed now. Recently it is read on news that many celebrities are opting for home schooling options. Celebrities are no doubt the ideals of general public and create examples. People are following this home schooling option for their fussy children as a cool way to educate and habituate their children for academics.

But is that a good option? Wouldn't it be great to put your ward in some reputed school as Geelong College?

• A lot of things can be eliminated while home schooling like breaks between classes, time for attendance, and disruption from other students. This time is utilized and child could have complete control over the schedule.

• More tools can be freely used for learning at home.

Negative aspects:

• The child lacks socialization. They may lack association and congregation with other kids.

• The lack of extracurricular activities as sports, cultural and competitions would hamper overall growth of child.

• Lack of abundant resources as books and texts that are possibly available in school library.

• Separate roles of parent and teacher are hard to perform by parents. This also cost the second source of income in the family.

Well so whether you decide to put your child in private schools of Victoria or prefer home schooling , you need to give utmost importance to the fact that child gets a better learning environment. This once you give, rest everything will be worked out automatically.
